Simple and fast score writing

In Turandot, the way to write fast scores is by using the keyboard. Just as you write the letters in the wordprocessor, in Turandot each of the notes, the accidentals, articulation signs, etc., can be written using the keyboard. Almost everything can be done by the keyboard, so you don’t have to switch between the keyboard and the mouse with your right hand. This program works very much like a word processing program where the cursor is immediately at your disposal to help you write your score.

Fast score formatting

When writing scores, the width of the bars is automatically set based on length of notes. Furthermore, the arrangement of bars in a system as well as the arrangement of systems on a page is also automatically set.

Working with more complex aspects of writing a score, such as inserting a new staff or bars, or changing the size of the page is also lightning fast. All this can be done in a fraction of a second even when the score has hundreds of pages.

Small file size

Turandot scores are small. For example, a 5 page Schubert song is only 25 kbytes. Because of the fact that the scores a small, they take up less space on your hard disk and downloading them from the Internet is very fast.

Low price

You can purchase Turandot for $165.

Before deciding on which music notation program to buy, please consider that Turandot inspite of its favorable price can offer wider range of features and more user friendly solutions than its more expensive rivals.

You can find a list of currently available programs at http://ace.acadiau.ca/score/others.htm.

Free scores library

When you purchase Turandot, you not only get the program itself, but you get the possibility to download lots and lots of scores. On the Internet there are a lot of places to find scores, but these you must usually pay for. With Turandot, you get those scores for free.

You can use the scores without any restrictions (you can print as many copies as you like, you can transpose them, you can add notes to them, you can extract out single staves, you can supply a whole orchestra with scores just by downloading one file).
